Greetings, I am Monique, a devoted mother of two growing adults, a culinary enthusiast who finds joy in cultivating delicious meals, a gracious hostess known for creating unforgettable family holiday gatherings, and an avid traveler with a passion for exploring new destinations. In 2019, I proudly earned my degree in Healthcare Administration, paving the way for me to make a difference in the healthcare industry. I am what some may call an introverted extrovert - able to navigate social settings with ease while cherishing moments of solitude and introspection. As the Founder and the Crowned President of Sigma Alpha Sigma Sorority Incorporated, affectionately referred to as Royal Pressure, I lead with grace and determination, inspiring those around me to strive for excellence. My personal philosophy centers around the belief that everything unfolds in its own perfect time. Two quotes that resonate deeply with me are "If it won't matter in 5 years, don't spend more than 5 minutes worrying about it" and "You are the MOST important person" - reminders to prioritize what truly matters and embrace self-worth. With a blend of warmth, ambition, and unwavering positivity, I approach each day as an opportunity to connect with others, make meaningful contributions, and create lasting memories.
The inspiration for starting SAS was to create a space that we could not find in other organizations. To create a space where a woman can speak on her goals, past and aspirations without the fear of judgment. We at Sigma Alpha Sigma Sorority, Incorporated pride ourselves on making sure that everyone that crosses our paths are left with an everlasting impression of what the PRIDE Empress' represent.
